Christian adulthood is advanced from catechism indoctrination to a universal but limited understanding of reality that prepares us to assume relevant and diverse behavior and action to confront the needs of the moment. That moment is the multifaceted global crisis. And this will move us to merge with all faiths and ethical advocates to a reasonable degree by enlarging our understanding of faith and moral agency. We may rethink relativism and the absolute. For example, did not Judaic monotheism emerge from their polytheistic forefathers?
