I wish t...Anyone interested in talking about this? I wish the conservatives could feel comfortable in a world of emerging truth. The sky will not fall. Catholics can hold what they hold to be true, others can hold what they hold to be true. If everyone understood that humans construct interpretations of meaning to orient their lives, we could all accept plurality of interpretations as natural and normal. It doesn't mean that all interpretations are equally valuable, coherent, or comprehensive. But dialogue is the way to come to assessments of value, coherence, comprehensiveness. Without rancor we could share reasoning and faith experience with each other. It looks to me that Pope Francis understands this.
